| "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12: 9-13 | ||||||||||||

DETAILS What: Petty Thieves at the Pourhouse Come out and see the guys play an outdoor concert at the Pourhouse. Fun List... regulars Matt Jackson, Brandon Phieffer and Lucas Allen will be playing Tom Petty songs during a 40 min set. "The Greatest Night of the Year"... The Fun List... main event The 58th Dead Turkey will be Nov 12th. For those that have not experienced the main event, The 58th Dead Turkey is our annual thanksgiving meal followed by a great concert. This year we plan on deep frying 100 pounds of wonderful dead turkey and enough biscuits to put a smile on your face for a week. Nathan Furr will be this year's headliner and an special opening act that you will not want to miss. Due to how amazing this event is, it WILL SELL OUT. We will not except walk ups, you need a ticket. How do I get a ticket, you ask? Send an email to me@jamesstogdill.com and request the number of tickets you want and the names of those people you are giving the tickets to. To be fair, tickets are not transferable. If you get a ticket and you later can't come, let me know. No big deal. There will NOT be a facebook invite. The event will sell out either by capacity or Nov 2nd. We do this due to the amount of food, planning and cost. My goal is to increase capacity this year, so more than likley the Nov 2nd date will hit prior to selling out by capacity. But the earlier you request a ticket, the easier planning will be. What: The HPA Its that time again,The HPA. The longest running Fun List... tradition is back. Will the Allen family continue their run or will we have a new champ? Come out and celebrate being crazy with with some great friends. Doors open at 7:00, costume and dessert voting at 7:45. All costumes must be kid friendly (example, don't do what Giff will probably do). To win the costume contest "a good part" of your costume must be "home made". So just don't go out and rent/buy one and expect to win. Your welcome to wear a rent/buy. If you are too cool to dress up, that's fine too. We will also have the best homemade dessert contest. Eat dinner prior to the event, bring a snack or dessert to share. BYOB, we will have kool-aid and water. PLEASE let me know if you are bringing kids and how many. We do something special for them and I need to know how many to plan for. Don't be surprised to see some karaoke/Rock Band to break out... Winner of each contest will receive a gift card to something awesome. previous champs: Costume Dessert Directions sent out week of event
